Cancellation Policy:
At Luma Dermatology, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
Medical Visits:
We kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or appointment changes.

Aesthetic/Cosmetic Visits:
We kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or appointment changes for cosmetic appointments. Please refer to the Aesthetic/Cosmetic Appointment Deposit policy below regarding deposits. More information on these policies can be found on our Cosmetic Dermatology and Esthetician Services pages on our website.
No Show Policy:

A cancellation made within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be considered a "No Show."

Failure to arrive to a scheduled appointment will be considered a "No Show."

Arrivals 15 minutes past the scheduled arrival or appointment time will be considered a "No Show".

We greatly value the time of both our patients and our providers, and repeated instances of missed appointments can disrupt our scheduling and prevent us from offering timely care to all of our valued patients.

Established Patients:
If an established patient accumulates three or more No Shows within a six-month period, Luma Dermatology reserves the right to use our discretion in determining continued care. This may result in a dismissal from the practice.

New Patients:
If a new patient misses their initial appointment without prior notice, they will be marked as a No Show and will not be rescheduled for another new patient visit at Luma Dermatology.

Rescheduling Policy:
At Luma Dermatology, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, requiring patients to reschedule their appointments. However, frequent rescheduling impacts appointment availability and patient care. To ensure that all patients receive timely and effective treatment, we have established the following rescheduling policy: ​​​​

Established Patients:
For established patients, multiple reschedules may result in delays in treatment and continuity of care. To maintain the highest standard of care, our physicians reserve the right to use their discretion in determining continued treatment for patients with excessive rescheduling. This may result in a dismissal from the practice.

New Patients:
New patients are allowed one reschedule of their initial appointment. Any subsequent rescheduling requests will require authorization from the provider before a new appointment can be rescheduled beyond the initial request.

Aesthetic/Cosmetic Appointment Deposits:
Deposit Forfeiture:
For any cosmetic or aesthetic appointments, any deposits collected are forfeited if a cancellation is received within less than 48 hours of the scheduled appointment.

Transferring Deposits:​
Each deposit can be transferred once. Subsequent rescheduling requests will require a new deposit.
